With decades of experience, we treat all oncological diseases that represent an indication for radiotherapy. This is carried out by means of image-guided radiotherapy on state-of-the-art equipment using intensity-modulated radiotherapy (IMRT). Adaptive planning allows the treatment volume to be adapted to the tumor as it shrinks during therapy. This minimizes potential radiogenic side effects.
First consultation and
The purpose of the first consultation is to get to know you and build a relationship of trust between you and your doctor. Based on the documents you bring with you, we will discuss the indication for therapy and the best possible concept. This includes various options for fractionating the radiation, which determine the duration of therapy. We will discuss with you whether additional medication such as chemotherapy, immunotherapy or antibodies need to be given. We discuss the treatment plan in a detailed and trusting manner with your treating oncologist, gynaecologist or urologist etc.. This coordination is of great importance for an optimal treatment result. We will discuss the treatment plan and the information sheet with you and may provide you a cost calculation.
Control during your therapy
Please weigh yourself once a week and let us know the result.
Depending on the treatment concept, we will check your blood count regularly. Please inform us about changes that have occurred during the discussions during the radiation therapy.
